Outsourcing: Nanako
Nanako's services have been accessible to Luisa Language Teaching students since April 2026.
Originally from Sapporo, Japan, Nanako now lives in the United States and has also lived in Canada. Having experienced life abroad herself, she understands both the rewards and challenges of learning a new language and navigating a different culture. Fluent in English and passionate about cultural exchange, she enjoys helping students gain confidence in Japanese while sharing the rich culture behind the language.
Before becoming a language teacher, she worked as a registered nurse in Japan. Her healthcare background taught her the importance of empathy, active listening, and clear communication. These qualities now shape her teaching style.
She specializes in conversation lessons and loves helping students sound more natural in Japanese. From everyday expressions to customs, traditions, and cultural insights, her lessons go beyond conversation to help students truly connect with the language and culture of Japan. Her goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment where students of all levels feel supported and inspired to keep learning.
Nanako can be contacted independently by students for speaking practice, role-playing activities, and conversation sessions.
